MIKE
JACOBS (b. New York City) is a Registered Architect in New York, California and Maine and has been in practice since 2002. In that time he has designed and built
numerous award-winning architectural projects, across the United States.
Mike was recognized with the American Institute
of Architects NY Lebrun Travel Grant to facilitate his interest in cities and
particularly in public space reclamation projects in the U.S. and Europe. His
proposals for large-scale waste restructuring in downtown Los Angeles and for
the reimagining of New York City’s East River are an evolution of this work.
Parallel
to practice, Mike served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture

within fragile landscapes and have concentrated on the application, theory and
perception of Color in contemporary design.
Mike received a Master of Architecture Degree
from the Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning &
Preservation and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Urban Studies
from Lehigh University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.
